Mix the hair colour developer with the hair dye in a ratio of 1:1.5 (for example, 50g of hair dye + 75ml of colour developer); for a more intense shade, mix 1:1 with 3%, 6% or 9% colour developer.
3% developer is used when colouring pre-lightened hair or when colouring hair tone-on-tone.
6% developer is used for covering grey hair or for colouring hair one shade lighter than the existing hair tone.
9% developer is used to lighten hair by 2-3 levels lighter than the existing hair tone.
12% developer is used to mix super-blonde hair shades and to lighten hair by four shades.
